Abstract

This article investigates the structural-semantic and translation features of financial and economic terminology based on Uzbek–English and English–Uzbek parallel corpora. The study analyzes structural models of financial-economic terms, their semantic equivalence, and translation transformations observed in parallel texts. The analysis reveals that translation strategies such as calque, direct borrowing, descriptive translation, and functional equivalence are widely used. The findings highlight the effectiveness of a corpus-based approach in ensuring terminological accuracy and consistency in the translation of economic texts. The results are relevant to translation studies, terminology research, and economic discourse analysis.
