PREVENTING INTERNET ADDICTION AMONG YOUTH: PREVENTIVE MEASURES AND MECHANISMS

Abstract

This article is devoted to studying internet addiction among youth, its causes, consequences, and preventive measures. The research analyzes the relationship of internet addiction with psychological, social, and pedagogical factors, as well as its negative impact on the health and social development of young people. The article also presents comprehensive preventive mechanisms, including pedagogical and family support strategies to reduce internet dependency. The results of the study provide practical recommendations for fostering healthy and purposeful internet use among youth, strengthening mental stability, and improving social integration.
