Abstract

This article analyzes the stages of formation and development of historiography in Central Asia during the 11th–13th centuries. It highlights the activities of historians of this period, their works, and the role of historical knowledge in the development of society. It also examines the influence of political processes, interstate relations, and the cultural environment on the development of historiography. The study demonstrates the significance of the historical heritage of this period for modern historical science.
