Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of German and Uzbek phraseological units referring to the image of women from semantic, evaluative and linguocultural perspectives. The study reveals positive, negative and neutral evaluations and their relation to cultural mentality and social stereotypes. This article presents a comparative linguocultural analysis of the phraseological interpretation of the male image and its social role in German and Uzbek. The study reveals the role of phraseological units in representing social expectations, moral norms, and gender stereotypes.
