ANALYSIS OF LEXICAL-SEMANTIC PROPERTIES OF ARABIC CONSONANTS

Abstract

This article analyzes the lexical-semantic characteristics of Arabic borrowings in the Uzbek language. The issues of semantic development of words imported from Arabic, narrowing and expanding their meaning, their use in portable meanings, and their belonging to the stylistically active or passive layer are covered.
