Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence technologies in developing reading literacy among primary school students. The study focuses on improving students’ reading speed, comprehension, and learning motivation in the context of the increasing role of digital tools in modern education. During the research, AI-based platforms such as ChatGPT and Google Read Along were utilized. These tools provide opportunities for personalized learning, immediate error detection and correction, and interactive organization of the reading process. The findings indicate that the use of artificial intelligence technologies significantly enhances students’ reading accuracy and fluency, promotes deeper understanding of texts, and supports the development of independent learning skills. Additionally, these technologies increase students’ engagement and motivation in the learning process, contributing to overall educational effectiveness. The results confirm that the appropriate integration of AI tools can serve as an effective approach to improving reading literacy in primary education.
