Abstract

This article analyzes the classification of dietary products, their biological and chemical composition, and their physiological effects on human health. The study examines functional foods, nutraceuticals, products containing probiotics and prebiotics, as well as dietetic products with modified energy value and macroelement content. The impact of dietary products on metabolic processes, glucose absorption, lipid metabolism, gut microbiota status, and immune system regulation is evaluated from the perspective of modern nutrition and dietetics. The results indicate that dietary products play an important role in the prevention of metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and other chronic non-communicable diseases. Moreover, the article discusses prospects for producing food products enriched with biologically active components using modern food technologies. The findings have scientific and practical significance for shaping a healthy diet, optimizing dietary regimes, and strengthening public health.
