Abstract
The article examines the influence of professional-communicative competencies on the development of volitional qualities (perseverance, determination, endurance, self-control) in students — future physical education teachers. The relevance of the topic is justified in the context of increasing requirements for the personal qualities of a teacher. A review of domestic and foreign studies is provided. The methodology of an experimental study conducted among students of Fergana State University is described. Results confirming the positive impact of communicative skills development on volitional qualities are presented. The conclusion offers practical recommendations for implementing this approach in the training of physical education teachers.
