Abstract

This article explores the psychological and character traits of characters through a comparative analysis of Abdukayum Yuldoshev's short stories "Crocodile Tears," "Trace in the Heart," "Sunbula's First Saturday," "Prayers of a Foreign City," "The Cruel Retribution of Stardom," "Firefighter," "A Poet's Love," and several works written at the beginning of the 21st century. The analysis focused on form and content, the originality of the imagery, and the mastery of psychological imagery in the works of these writers.
