LOANWORDS IN RUSSIAN: ADAPTATION AND USE

Abstract

The article examines the process of borrowing words in the Russian language, the reasons for their appearance, and the features of their adaptation. The study analyzes phonetic, grammatical, and word-formation changes of borrowed words, as well as their functioning in modern speech. Particular attention is paid to Anglicisms as the most active group of borrowings in the Russian language of the 21st century
