Abstract

The article addresses the issue of forming the speech culture of youth in the context of modern socio-cultural changes. Special attention is given to the role of the education system as a key institution of socialization, significantly influencing the development of students’ communicative competencies and linguistic personality. The main factors contributing to the formation of speech culture in the educational process are analyzed, including the content of curricula, pedagogical technologies, and the linguistic environment of educational institutions. The necessity of purposeful work on developing literacy, communicative ethics, and a conscious attitude toward language as a crucial means of interpersonal and professional interaction is emphasized. It is concluded that education plays a systemic role in the development of speech culture among the younger generation.
